Walked part of the Camino way and discovered that Camino etiquette requires you to wish people “Buen Camino”wishing people a good journey, safe travels as well as a fruitful experience.
A mini hike of 5.6 miles, the furthest since our various ops, very pleasant and definitely a fruitful experience!!
Walked through numerous eucalyptus and pine plantations and past a couple of churches.
The route is well signed by the granite Camino markers, the kilometre zero marker being at the stone sculpture on the point. The scallop shell is the symbol of the Camino.
The town of Muxia is in the distance. Caught glimpses of the coast through the trees.
A responsible for taking a wrong turn, quite fortuitous as it turned out, it shortened the walk somewhat which helped our recovering limbs.
