Unpacked and settled into apartment-home until 16th May! Hope we can be on the boat by then.
Headed to boat to view work, which had only been completed the day before! Interior reinstalled to a reasonable standard but lots of filling and tweaking to be done.
Worst of all, boat is in a filthy workshop( albeit very warm) and main hatch had been left open so entire boat inside and out covered in thick layer of dust- as were we after our first visit! They lent us a filthy vacuum cleaner- blew more dust out than collected. It had no filter.
A dispatched to Home Hardware-has since become a frequent visitor, returned without correct filter but with huge filter bags which F, surprise, surprise, modified to fit. Surface cleaner and kitchen paper proved in the end to be a better solution.
