What a Nice Sail!

Monday 10th June

 

Yesterday we had a very nice day’s sailing. The wind continued to be 15 to 19 knots from the north and then overnight backed to become north westerly.  But the sea state was relatively flat and the boat was not heeling over too much and we weren’t being thrown around so it made a very enjoyable sail. Long may it continue.

 

Also looking at the weather maps, we may avoid the very strong winds sweeping down the Spanish/Portuguese coast.  The winds seem to be covering a smaller area, and as long as we don’t go too fast we should avoid the worst.  But that’s in a couple of day’s time and the weather may change.....
