Saturday 9th September

 

After leaving the C&D canal we headed down to an anchorage in the Sassafras river.  The entrance to the river was covered in crab pots, so we had to slalom our way between them. Chris was driving and Penny was giving instructions where to steer to miss them.  We managed not to pick any up and motored across to the north side to anchor.

 

Very quiet spot once boats had stopped coming in and out of the river. About 6 other boats came to anchor close by.
