We're starting to feel the temperature pick
back up now and we're able to wear bikini's and shorts instead of trousers and
jumpers. It has been strange, but it's definitely a sign of things to come,
we're making our way home and from here onwards the temperature will be
different.
We had quite a pleasant day, everyone was
starting to relax as we're getting closer, we even caught a mahi-mahi and a
tuna. The mahi was a decent size and the tuna was quite small so we
attached it to a float and left it for the Tippy's to pick up for their
dinner.
Our thoughts were never far away from what
happened to those on Quest. I won't dwell on it whilst we're out here but once
we're safe there are a lot of things to be discussed.
The worst part of the day for me is as the
sun goes down, it becomes very eerie as we try and keep a watch for anything
approaching. Last night was even worse as it was so so dark, we just
couldn't see a thing, not even the horizon, until the moon came out around
01:30. Richard came up on watch and announced that it was darker outside than in
his cabin, it was not nice at all.
Anyway, we're 15 miles away now and the end
is in sight!
