Wednesday 8th September
We left the marina at Airlie Beach just
after mid-day on Wednesday complete with a new bracket (to lift the
outboard engine) that had been made overnight, very accommodating people here in
the marina. We are now collecting our new dinghy from Cairns further up the
coast the middle of next week, so can now take our time getting
there.

Bay Gloucester Island
We sailed 20 miles and anchored
for the night at Bona Bay, Gloucester Island. It was late afternoon when we
arrived and decided not to go ashore as there are 'Death Adders' on the island
and you are advised to carry a torch so you can see what's around you. No thank
you.
