First thing we gave the boat a wash down to remove the significant build up of dust that had accumulated during its 3 days on the hard at Lefkarda. Departing for Mesolongi at 11:00. The winds strengthened to +15knts from the west, so we took advantage of that and set the genoa for a downwind run, continuing to Kyani Akti, on the northern point of the Peloponnese, east of the bridge, in a cove offering good protection from the prevailing wind. About the bridge, “Rio–Antirrio Bridge is the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridge. It crosses the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese to Antirrio on mainland Greece. Its official name is the Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge.” We had a swim to shore and back, enjoying the perfect water temperature after a long run from Poros. Then a refreshing Aperol Spritz before taking the dinghy around to Psathopyrgos where there were several good tavernas. We had tried to anchor here first however the deep water close to shore meant we would have been on to of the local swimmers and paddle boarders.

We motored around to Psathopyrgos in the dinghy for dinner, where good tavernas were plentiful
