Up early, did not sleep well due the significant swell. Seal on inmast electric furler was leaking oil so we replaced the seal and then weighed anchor, departing at 7:25am. Under motor, light winds on the nose. Anchored near Vlore town. We went ashore to explore the town. The waterfront is very organised, neat and tidy. We had lunch, fish soup, salad, sea bass and fruit platter for Euro13.5 each. Very resonable. Returned to the boat for a siesta, not having much sleep the previous night. Zimmi made a margarita and then we headed in for dinner, this time to a family restaurant to traditional Albanian food, a few streets back from the tourist strip. No surprise the town was full of people in the cool of the evening. The food was very good, 5 shared plates, around 30 Euro total. Again, very good value for money.

New marina under construction at Vlore

Vlore waterfront, neat, well laid out. Very quiet in the early afternoon.

Everyone is out and about in the cool of the evening
