Up at 7am and straight in to trying to sort out the water pump - circuit board dismantled to access further fuses - all appeared ok. Circuit diagram now downloaded from the manufacturer and we psoitively identified which fuse. Changed it and voila! - on close inspection of he failed fuse, what looked like a dirty mark was in fact the fuse having blown. Power to water pump restored - but then problem with the pump itself leaking and not building pressure - dismantled - new filter and finally got it working ok. Meanwhile engine oil change, diesel filter changes. Too much crawling around in confined spaces with diesel fumes - I thought this was a holiday!
Skipper now relaxed that jobs back on track and a very good lunch of Moules by Michel, washed down with a warm Rose. More boats arriving and the anticipation building.
Ian has cycled a marathon distance back and forth to the Supermarche and the oil recycling facility - thank goodness for the Brompton.
Skipper has just produced his list of jobs for tomorrow but that's another day. Weather a balmy 27 degrees and were of to the bar now for a bit of mingling with other crews and comparing the woes of boat maintenance.
