Hi Campers,
Well I guess you are all enjoying or about to enjoy
your summer holls, and rightly so after having to put up with reading these
bloggs you all need a few months off at least, anyway we will have a glass or
two, to toast your good health on our arrival at Tahiti which should be tomorrow
at midday .
There is not much wind about just a long
rolling swell so we are under power , the thought of spending another week at
the Tuamotoes was beginning to send us stir crazy theirs a limit to the number
of reefs , dancing girls and coconuts you can stand on one small atoll
.
A message to a crazed scooter rider in
Hayling island from Rob the great British biker , "I'm off to hire a Harley when
I get to NZ " it has also been rumoured by the ships crew that he has asked Lyn
to run him up some "leather chaps" and that he may go riding "Right said Fred
style" so as he can get the real feel of a bike and not have the sensation of
being stuck on a high revving lawn mower , I guess its the constant rhythm of
the 1200cc pistons that does for for him!
Anyway I survived another day as the cook , tried
the Gary Rodes one although I didn't have the hair cut to go with it , all these
cookbooks seem to blend in to one another apart from Nigelas she seems to stand
out from the rest of them !
Ruth is consuming paper back books at an alarming
rate its about one a day and the last book change is nearly exhausted , we
will have to find some like minded yachties for swapseys in Tahiti
.
