The wind died away altogether yesterday evening and we motored all through the night and this morning.  The sky was a beautiful blue and the sun shone, but there wasn’t so much as a puff of wind.  We had been expecting this, but had been hopeful the forecast would be wrong.  I was feeling very much better after a couple of good sleeps, and tucked into a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes and green pepper.
