After getting fuel (only 10 gallon) and water we checked out and left St. George anchorage at noon local time on May 8.
Bermuda radio cleared us to transit the cut and asked for few more details like the next port and expected arrival time.
Outside the cut the swell made a bit uncomfortable start having to motor up wind to clear the shallow water surrounding
Bermuda. Once out we set course for NE with genoa and staysail. We have not changed that sail configuration since
ans sailed at 7 to 8 kts with 15 kts of wind.
This morning a school of small size dolphin followed us for a little bit.
Will keep this course until tomorrow morning, then probably start to follow a more East course not to go too much wind for the
low pressure coming down from the North in about 5 days.

May 9 The bouncy condition "forced" the cats to share bed. The first time since they were kittens

May 9, A very happy Andrea with his freshly cooked bread ! Unfortunately, he discovered that it's not easy to cook underway and
he informed us that this will be the last time that he will make bread during this passage.
We are so sad by this news but hopeful that with time he will get more use to the boat motion and accustom to move (or stand) when everything
around you move and bounce around. We like the bread he makes. it' delicious !

May 9 the morning encounter with a school of dolphin.
Note the different dress of the Italian/American sailor (short and long sleeve sun shirt) from the one of the
Italian sailor (foul weather gear). Did the New Jersey cold winters made us more resistant or the gentle weather of
Viareggio made Andrea to sensitive to cold ?
