Good progress so far, but pretty hard going. The straights of Gibraltar were rough, windy and unpredictable, so didn’t get too much sleep the first night.

Last night was better, although still pretty rough we are now in the Northerly trade winds so the wind has settled into 15-20knts  from the north and Magnum is sailing beautifully. We have been pretty conservative with sail area but have still averaged around 6 knts.

We have dodged a fair amount of shipping but apart from that and  Amanda spotting a whale in the distance all is peaceful here.

 

Oh and Amanda getting soaked by a wave breaking against Magnums side ;–) I was asleep so missed all the excitement.
