All went well for the first day and then we discovered that the holding tank drain for the forward head was blocked. We hove to in a calm sea.
Rambo and Superman dived in and went under the boat with the dinghy pump and tried to blow the blockage out. Not a
good idea!! A fountain came out narrowly missing me who was doing the easy job of looking down the pipe to see what was
happening!! We found the problem but could not fix it so will have to pump out from the deck every now and then with the
dinghy pump! Not a good job and one which we will have to draw lots for!
It was my day to run the radio net but I didn't manage to get a weather forecast so I said "I haven't managed to get a
forecast but you can guarantee that it will be very light winds and they will be on the nose!" Well - famous last words! We
had 40 knots of wind all night and got into Langkawi at dawn! More wind than we have seen for the last 6 weeks!
