I flew to Malaga, Charlie Hutchinson took me to Finca los Reales, Charlie & Rhona’s lovely house in the hills above Estepona. Although only ten minutes from the centre of Estepona, the house has amazing views across to Gibraltar and the Rif. On Friday Rhona drove us to Gib to pick up the mooring springs from QQ Marina, then to Algeciras to catch the fast ferry to Ceuta. Rhona was pretty heroic as she had a very painful shoulder from playing tennis. At Ceuta we took a taxi to the Moroccan border where Jorge Molina met us and drove us to the boat at Marina Smir which had been duly repaired (at considerable cost!) Dinner was pizza and a chicken tagine at an ice cream restaurant! It was OK.
