Coral Garden at Motu Tautau, island of Tahaa.

We moved up here from Raiatea yesterday which was just a slow motor between the reef and the island.  The big attraction here is a shallow pass (1 – 2m) through the reef that is full of coral and fish.  A fantastic, fantastic snorkel.  Even though it was overcast and so the light not great it was still bright enough to be amazing and take decent photographs.  The fish are completely not bothered by snorkelers and so happily go about their business while you float and atch.

Today we head for Bora Bora to wait for reasonable weather to get us along the ten(ish) day passage to Tonga.
