We left early to go through the Narrows at high water and headed along the top of Paradise island before we could head North towards the Berry islands, once in open water we were soon sailing slowly north and made our way to anchor South of Bird Island. A pretty anchorage, it's really in-between whale cay and Bird Cay, it would be great to go and explore the shallows behind the islands but the outboard is off the dinghy etc so we stay on board!

A little swell found its way into the anchorage but it wasn’t bad and soon died down as the wind went westerly before going northwest and then north. The following day I made some passage food as we weren’t sure where we would be able to sail to in the States, we hoped to get a little way north so maybe do a couple of nights but the forecast wasn’t consistent so we really won’t know until we leave.
