BACK TO CARANGO - frantic stores shopping - last minute repairs and renewals - a few jolly lunches and dinner parties and we are off.

We set off in hot sun - Table mountain behind the new crew.

It then became arctic cold as we headed North towards Namibia where we have decided to visit the old German colonial town of Luderitz. We are all in full oilskins and thick jerseys - what a shock to the system and the very limited cold weather clothing supplies! Let us hope as we close the equator again we regain our usual hot weather.
