Not here for sure! We sailed into a big calm patch after a heavy rain squall with a strong wind! Very frustrating – we were massively headed so decided to sail to where the wind should be coming from – which is from the west! So as we began to sail west so the wind headed us further – all 5 kts of breeze that is! We have now managed to tack again and at least are heading vaguely towards San Miguel. There are some clouds to the west of us so perhaps that is where the breeze will come from.

Just to add to the amusement a large Tuna – probably about 15lbs – has been swimming right beside us under the port quarter. Yes I have finally got the rod out and set it up with a Muppet – thanks Nick Offord of Rustler who suggested what I should get from Trago Mills (who else??!!)

Talking of Rustler, Andrillot II is just fabulous – we get 30 kts and she copes very well. We then get a calm patch like now and yet are ghosting along at 5.2kts in 7 kts of breeze! Thank you Rustler!

Time to do some trimming!

Looks like it will only be Parsley box for supper……. Pity I fancied a fresh Tuna steak and Bill has promised to buy me dinner if I catch one!
